This magazine follows a travel theme. It offers advice for the audience on where to visit, this can be seen in the title. White font is used to fit the house style. A barcode appears bottom left found with the price, these are regular codes and conventions you would expect to see on a magazine. The image is showing the audience just one of the places you can go and the image looks picturesque, this is eye-catching and may encourage the audience to purchase and read. The image is a bird eye shot showing the beach from an exclusive angle, not everyone walking past would be able to see it from this perspective. The primary target audience would be middle- upper class, this is because travelling is often expensive and the locations suggested would appeal to them. The font also implies that this magazine is intended for a more sophisticated upper-class audience. However, the secondary target audience may be working class who use these magazines as an escape from reality. Showing the dream life and what they can aspire to have.

This style magazine follows all the codes and conventions of a magazine.  The issue date can be seen in small black handwriting, making it known to the audience when the magazine was published. The title appears in large black and white font creating a contrast; this makes it stand out against the neutral background. The image is anchored down by the text. The magazine is classy and elegant, and this is reinforced by the colour palette. The pop off colour from the orange typography juxtaposes the cleanness of the white. To make this magazine recognizable, the publisher's Style brand name can be seen across all their magazines in their same bold white font.  Headlines can be seen following the Style genre, including themes of fashion and food This magazine would appeal to the primary target audience of middle aged and middle- upper class. This is due to the style of the magazine; the image is shot in a nicely furnished house and features a middle-aged woman with makeup in an all-white outfit. The outfit is modern and fashionable, engaging the audience. Females would stereotypically be the target audience as it is a fashion magazine offering home interior tips.  The font chosen for the typography reinforces the idea that this magazine is sophisticated as paired with the image choice and colour palette. No puff appears on the cover due to targeting a more affluent audience, they don’t need to encourage or tempt them with prizes as the consumers can probably already afford it themselves.

This magazine is a beauty magazine, empowering women. It follows a soft pink colour palette paired with the colour black used to make it stand out, it uses quite feminine colours which would therefore target a female audienceThe dark pink used in some subheadings contrasts the baby pink background highlighting key information making it eye-catching to the audience The subheadings appear predominantly around the image with a little anchoring, carefully laying out the text allows the image to remain centre and stand out creating direct address with the audience. The image is highlighting the model’s natural beauty. This would target a primary target audience of women who are of a black ethnicity as they are being positively represented on a magazine cover, which goes against the stereotypical blonde white women appearing on fashion magazines, this cover is showing diversity The secondary target audience could be from any ethnicity but women who enjoy beauty or gay men who enjoy this too as this magazine is clearly following the codes and conventions of a beauty magazine. The masthead ‘Modern Beauty’ appears at the top of the cover appearing in large black font showing the magazine as sophisticated and respectable with the date released appearing underneath.
